The payment process for the Yuvashree (Yubasathi) Scheme has reportedly started from yesterday. Many people across social media are sharing screenshots claiming that they have received the money. Some users are posting payment confirmation images, while others are saying that the funds have not yet reached their bank accounts.
Even the Chief Minister has mentioned that the payment process will begin. However, there is still confusion among applicants because many people are reporting that they have not yet received the money.
In a recent online poll conducted among applicants, around 90% of people said that the money has not yet been credited to their accounts, while a few claimed they already received it. At the moment, there is no confirmed proof available publicly showing large-scale payments being completed.
Still, since the government announced that payments would start immediately, it is expected that the funds will begin reaching beneficiaries within the next few days.
Who Is Receiving the Yuvashree Scheme Money First?
The Yuvashree application forms were submitted through two different methods:
- Online Application
- Offline Application (through camps)
This difference is playing a major role in determining who receives the money first.
Applicants who filled out the online form already uploaded their documents digitally. Their applications are already stored in the department database and can be verified much faster.
However, the offline forms submitted at camps must first go through a process called digitization.
What Happens to Offline Submitted Forms?
For offline forms, the process is slightly longer.
Data Entry Operators must manually:
- Check the submitted physical form
- Enter the applicant’s details into the system
- Upload scanned copies of documents
- Digitize the application
Only after this process is completed can the application move forward for verification.
Since the number of offline applications is extremely high, the process will naturally take some time.
Reports suggest that around 84 lakh applications have been submitted. Digitizing all of them instantly is practically impossible.
This is why the first payments may go only to those whose forms have already been digitized and verified.
Verification Process After Digitization
Digitization alone is not enough. After that, every application goes through a verification process.
Officials check:
- Whether documents are valid
- Whether the applicant meets the age criteria
- Whether the applicant is already receiving other government benefits
- Whether the voter ID details are correct
Some applications may also get rejected during this stage.
Possible Reasons for Application Rejection
Several common issues can lead to rejection or delay in payment.
Age Criteria Not Met
Applicants must be between 21 and 40 years of age.
During online form submission, the system automatically detects if the age is incorrect. If the applicant is younger than 21 or older than 40, the form cannot be submitted.
The same system is used by Data Entry Operators while entering offline forms.
Missing or Incorrect Voter ID
The Voter ID card was a mandatory document for online applications.
Many applicants who were 21 years old but did not yet have a voter card submitted offline forms at camps. Unfortunately, those forms cannot be processed immediately.
Without the voter ID document, the application cannot be entered into the system.
Incomplete Voter Card Copies
Some applicants submitted only one side of the voter card photocopy instead of both sides. These applications may also face delays during verification.
Deleted or Under Review Voter Status
Some voters have their names marked as:
- Deleted from voter list
- Under adjudication
Applications with these statuses may remain pending until the issue is resolved.
Duplicate Government Scheme Beneficiaries
If someone is already receiving benefits from schemes like:
- Krishak Bandhu
- Lakshmi Bhandar
and still applied for the Yuvashree scheme, their application may be rejected during verification.
Self-Attested Documents Requirement
Many applicants were worried about whether self-attested documents are compulsory.
According to a Data Entry Operator working in the department, applicants can still receive the payment even if the documents are not self-attested.
However, self-attested documents are recommended because they make verification easier.
Why Most People Haven’t Received the Money Yet
The main reason is the huge number of applications.
With over 84 lakh applications, it is impossible to process everything instantly. Payments will be released in phases.
Only those applications that are:
- Digitized
- Verified
- Approved
will receive the first installment.
Others will receive the money gradually as the verification process continues.
