If you want to sell paddy at a government procurement center (Kisan Mandi) and need a new Kisan Mandi Card, you can now apply completely online. This guide explains the entire online application process.
Farmers in Bihar can apply through the official portal ePADS Bihar without visiting offices repeatedly.
Step 1: Visit the Official Website
First, open the official website:

(The website link is usually provided in the video description as well.)
On the left corner of the homepage, click on:
Farmer Services → Farmer Self Registration
Step 2: Aadhaar Verification (OTP Based)
- Enter your Aadhaar number
- Click Get OTP
- An OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number
- Enter the 6-digit OTP
- Click Validate OTP

⚠️ Important: Your Aadhaar must be linked with your mobile number.
Once verified:
- Aadhaar validation will be successful
- Your photo will automatically appear
- Click OK to proceed
Step 3: Krishak Bandhu Verification
You will now be asked:
“Does this person have a Krishak Bandhu ID?”
- Select YES (anyone with cultivable land has it)
How to Fetch Krishak Bandhu Details
You will see three options:
- Aadhaar Number
- EPIC (Voter ID) Number
- Krishak Bandhu ID
✅ Best option: Use EPIC (Voter ID) Number
Important Voter ID Tip
- If your Krishak Bandhu was created using an old voter ID, and your voter number has changed:
- Enter the old EPIC number (written on the back of the new voter card)
After entering the EPIC number:
- Click Validate
- Krishak Bandhu details will be fetched successfully
- Name, EPIC number, and Krishak Bandhu ID will appear
- Click OK
Step 4: Mobile OTP Verification (Again)
- The mobile number registered in Krishak Bandhu will be shown
- Click Generate OTP
- Enter the OTP and Validate
⚠️ Note:
This mobile number must not be linked with another Kisan Mandi Card, otherwise OTP will not be sent.
Step 5: Family & Personal Details
- Enter Father / Mother / Husband / Wife’s name
- Select the relationship
- Click Next
Step 6: Address & Land Details
- Address will be auto-fetched from Krishak Bandhu
- Manually fill Gram Panchayat name
- Click Next
Land Information
- Total land area will be fetched automatically
- You cannot edit land details online
- If land details are incorrect, contact the office
- Verify all land records
- Click Verify
Step 7: Select Purchase Center
- Choose your nearest Paddy Purchase Center
- This is where you will sell your paddy
- Click Next
Step 8: Bank Account Details
- Bank details from Krishak Bandhu will appear
- You can change bank details if needed
How to Update Bank Details
- Enter IFSC Code
- Bank & branch name will auto-fill
- Select Account Type
- Enter Account Number twice
- Select Single Account (recommended)
⚠️ Avoid joint accounts to prevent payment issues.
Click Next
Step 9: Upload Required Documents
Upload all documents in PDF format, each within 2 MB:
- Voter ID Card
- Land Parcha (Land Record)
- Bank Passbook
📌 If parcha has multiple pages:
- Upload as many pages as possible within 2 MB
- First page should show total land area
Step 10: Submit Application
- Click Submit
- Sometimes errors may appear
- Try multiple times if needed
- Submission will eventually succeed
Once submitted:
- An Application Number / Farmer ID will be generated
- This number is your Kisan Mandi Card Number
How to Check Kisan Mandi Card Status
Your card is not issued immediately.
Processing usually takes 10–20 days.
Steps to Check Status
- Visit epad.b.gov.in
- Click Registered Certificate Download
- Search using:
- Application Number
- Aadhaar Number
- Krishak Bandhu ID
- EPIC Number
Even if you lose the application number, you can check using Aadhaar.
OTP Verification
- Enter Aadhaar number
- Receive OTP
- Submit OTP
✅ If approved → Kisan Mandi Card will download
❌ If not approved → “Farmer Not Found” will appear
