CBSE Class 10 Date Sheet Changed Again: New Exam Dates Announced

Yes, you heard it right. CBSE has once again given students a major update, and for many, this may feel like a shock.

The CBSE board had already released the official date sheet, but even after that, some changes have been made. A new circular has been issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education, where certain exam dates have been rescheduled.

Now the big question is:

  • Are your exams affected?

  • Has Science moved to the first slot?

  • Has Maths become the last paper?

  • Is English now earlier than expected?

  • Has the exam schedule been extended?

Let’s not guess.
Let’s check the official update directly and understand everything clearly.

CBSE Official Circular: What Is the Latest Update?

When we visit the official CBSE portal, we can clearly see the most recent update titled:

“Rescheduling of Examinations for Class 10 and Class 12”

This circular is dated 29th December and applies to both Class 10 and Class 12 students.

According to CBSE, some exams originally scheduled for 3rd March 2026 have been rescheduled due to certain reasons.

What Was the Previous Class 10 Date Sheet?

Before understanding the changes, let’s quickly revise the original Class 10 board exam schedule:

Are Major Subjects Like Maths, Science, English Affected?

Here comes the big relief for Class 10 students.

✅ Mathematics – NOT affected

What Does This Mean for Class 10 Students?

  • If you had a language subject exam on 3rd March, it will now be held on 11th March

  • Your board exams will now end on 11th March instead of 10th March

  • There is NO change in preparation strategy required

  • Your revision plan remains the same

So yes, you can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

Has the Exam Duration Increased?

No additional subjects.
No reshuffling of core exams.
No surprise changes.

Important Message for Students: Don’t Panic
