Today’s main purpose of this video is to alert all ANM candidates, especially those preparing for ANM 5272 Vacancy, to stay cautious from people who are spreading fear by claiming that the cutoff will go 70+ marks. Many students have been messaging continuously, saying they are scared after hearing such claims.
So in this article, we will clearly discuss:
- The truth about document verification (DV)
- How many candidates will be called for DV
- What marks are required for selection
- Expected final cutoff category-wise
- Why some people are spreading 70+ cutoff rumors
Please read till the end so that all your confusion gets cleared.
How Many Candidates Will Be Called for Document Verification?
Many students have sent screenshots claiming that only 8,000 to 10,000 candidates will be called for document verification in ANM 5272 vacancy.
Let me clearly tell you — this information is completely wrong.
The commission has a clear pattern. If we look at previous records of UPSSSC and other vacancies, generally:
- At least 3 times the total posts are called for DV.
- In many vacancies, even 6 to 7 times candidates are called.
For example, in a previous UPSSSC exam like HDA:
- Total posts were 3,446.
- Around 22,000+ candidates were called for document verification.
- That was nearly 7 times the total vacancies.
Now, in ANM 5272 vacancy:
- If the commission calls even 3 times candidates → around 15,000–16,000 candidates will be called.
- If 4–5 times are called → the number can be even higher.
So those who are saying only 8,000–10,000 candidates will be called simply do not understand the commission’s pattern.
What Marks Are Required for Document Verification?
Let’s analyze logically.
Recently, two medical stream results were declared:
- Dentist Vacancy – DV cutoff was around 3.25 marks (except ST category).
- ETO (Excise Tax Officer) – DV cutoff was around 12.5 marks (except ST category).
You can clearly see how low the DV cutoffs were in medical stream vacancies.
Now let’s calculate for ANM 5272:
- You already received 35 base marks.
- Add around 10 more marks → total becomes 45 marks.
So if you have:
- 45+ marks (UR, OBC, SC, EWS) → High chances for DV.
- 42+ marks (ST category) → Very strong chances for DV.
If your marks fall in this range, you should feel confident about document verification.
Is PET Scorecard Required for Document Verification?
Many YouTube channels are spreading confusion that PET scorecard is required during document verification.
Let me clearly clarify:
- PET scorecard is NOT required during document verification.
- The commission does not demand PET scorecard at DV stage.
So don’t panic or waste time unnecessarily.
Expected Final Cutoff (Category-wise)
Now let’s talk about the final cutoff.
Please understand carefully — the cutoff will NOT go 70+.
Those spreading 70–80 marks cutoff are mostly trying to sell their courses for upcoming vacancies.
Here is the expected final cutoff range:
| Category | Expected Final Cutoff |
|---|---|
| Unreserved (UR) | 63 ± 2 |
| OBC | 61 ± 2 |
| EWS | 60 ± 2 |
| SC | 55 ± 2 |
| ST | 52 ± 2 |
If your marks fall in this range:
- Your selection chances are very strong.
- There is no need to panic.
- Cutoff may even go lower, but it will not go higher than this range.
Why Are People Saying 70+ Cutoff?
Now let’s understand the real reason.
Many coaching platforms and course sellers:
- Just finished one exam.
- Immediately started selling courses for the next vacancy.
- Spread fear by saying cutoff will be 70+.
- Make students panic so they buy new courses.
Their goal is not your selection — their goal is selling courses.
So stay alert and do not fall into this trap.
