If you have applied for the BSF Constable Tradesman 2025 recruitment and are planning to participate in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET/PST), then this information is extremely important for you.
The Border Security Force (BSF) has issued an official notice that can lead to the direct rejection of candidates, even before or after the physical test.
Any candidate falling under the conditions mentioned in this notice will be straightaway disqualified from the recruitment process.
👉 Whether your physical test has already been conducted or not, this update applies to everyone participating in this recruitment.
So please read this information carefully till the end.
This Notice Is NOT Only About NSQF – It Applies to ALL Trades
Many candidates are assuming that this notice is only related to NSQF certificates or limited to Cook, Waiter, or Water Carrier trades.
❌ This is a misunderstanding.
✅ This notice applies to ALL trades and ALL candidates, irrespective of the trade they applied for.
What Does the Official BSF Notice Say? (Explained Simply)
The official notice issued by Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, BSF Recruitment Headquarters (New Delhi) clearly states the following:
- Some male and female candidates from certain states have applied for trades that were NOT advertised for their respective state.
- BSF recruitment is state-wise and category-wise.
- If a candidate has applied for a trade in which there is NO vacancy for their state and category, such candidates will not be entertained by the department.
- Such candidates will be directly disqualified, even if they appear for PET/PST.
📅 Notice Date: 9 January 2026
📍 Issued by: Commandant (Recruitment), BSF HQ, CGO Complex, New Delhi
Understanding the Problem With an Example
Let’s understand this with a simple example:
- Suppose you belong to Rajasthan
- You applied for the Washerman trade
- Your category is EWS
Now here is the issue:
- In the official BSF notification, there is NO Washerman vacancy for Rajasthan in the EWS category
- Even though you filled the form successfully, you are NOT eligible
- Whether you attend the physical test or not, you cannot be selected
👉 This means your application itself becomes invalid.
What You MUST Check Immediately (Very Important)
Before appearing for PET/PST, do the following steps carefully:
- Check your application form
- Which trade did you apply for?
- Check your state of residence
- Check your category (UR / OBC / SC / ST / EWS)
- Open the official BSF notification
- Verify whether:
- Your trade
- Your state
- Your category
👉 All three have advertised vacancies
✅ If vacancy exists → You should attend the physical test
❌ If vacancy does NOT exist → Do NOT attend PET/PST (you are already disqualified)
This has been clearly mentioned by BSF in the official notice.
Second Major Issue: NSQF Level-1 Certificate Warning
Now let’s talk about the second biggest mistake candidates are making.
Many candidates:
- Cleared physical test
- Later realized they do NOT have NSQF Level-1 certificate
- Started searching for backdated NSQF certificates
🚫 This is extremely dangerous and illegal
Truth About Backdated NSQF Certificates
Please understand clearly:
- ❌ Backdated NSQF certificates are NOT genuine
- ❌ If someone claims they can make one, it is fake
- ❌ Using a fake certificate can result in:
- Permanent disqualification
- Legal case
- Police action
- Jail
- Lifetime ban from government jobs
These people will:
- Take your money
- Switch off their phone
- Destroy your career
What Are Your Only Safe Options?
Option 1:
If you do NOT have NSQF Level-1 certificate dated before 23 August 2025, then:
- Accept that you may be out of this recruitment
Option 2 (Safer for Future):
- Get a current-date genuine NSQF Level-1 certificate
- Even if BSF does not accept it now, it will:
- Remain valid for lifetime
- Be useful in future recruitments
- Keep your record clean and legal
📌 NSQF certificates never expire
